The ordinances of Beacon Village were enacted by Mayor chad_stumph on 1st October 2010. They are as follows:
1) All resident constructions are to be completed within the residential boundaries of their plot. Every new settler is entitled to one free 12x12 plot. Additional plots may be purchased from the government of Beacon Village for an amount to be determined by the Village Council.
2) All resident constructions should make use of only the following materials for building exteriors: wooden planks, clean stone, cobblestone, bricks, half-steps, and mossy cobblestone. The owners of buildings not following these aesthetics shall be fined by the government of Beacon Village.
3) All resident constructions are not to exceed 12 blocks in height from the established road level adjacent to the building plot. The owners of buildings that exceed 12 blocks in height shall be fined by the government of Beacon Village. Exceptions to this rule may be requested by the resident of the Village Council or Mayor.
4) Roads, parks, fountains, and public buildings are the responsibility of the government of Beacon Village and will be constructed and maintained by the Office of Public Works. Residents should refrain from constructing any of the fore mentioned structures unless directly authorized by the Director of Public Works, Mayor, or Village Council.
5) These ordinances are to be reviewed by the Village Council and Mayor in session at least once every two weeks and amended if deemed necessary. All residents are entitled to attend said council meetings, during which a public forum session shall be granted to hear public grievances and accept resident proposals.
